ed georgica | CEO & Co-founder Ed Georgica began his 43-year career in professional sports with the BC Lions in 1980. Following the team’s Grey Cup win in 1985, Georgica transitioned into hockey, joining the Vancouver Canucks as an Equipment Assistant for six years. He then became the Head Equipment Manager for the Ottawa Senators during their inaugural season, contributing more than a decade to the organization. On the international stage, Georgica represented Team Canada at the 1993 and 1996 IIHF World Championships, earning a silver medal in 1996. He was also selected to serve with the World Team at the 2000 NHL All-Star Game in Toronto. Georgica served four years on the Executive Board of the Society for Professional Hockey Equipment Managers (SPHEM), including one year as President. In 2001, he was honored with the Larry Ashley Award, presented to the trainer who best exemplifies the character and commitment to excellence that defined Ashley’s career. Beyond professional sport, Georgica is a Co-Founder and the Director of Community Projects for the Hope & Health for Life Society, where he leads initiatives that empower Indigenous children and youth through sport, culture, and mentorship.With Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Georgica served as Head Equipment Manager before directing First Team Operations, Logistics, and Facility Management from 2011–2023.In 2025, Georgica joined Coretection Products as Co-Owner and President in a full-time role, bringing decades of elite professional sports and community leadership experience to the development of advanced performance and recovery solutions
